Over the past year it seems that riders have been crashing more and more on Palomar Mountain. This is a simple request for riders to keep it safe and keep the rubber side down.
Palomar Mountain isn't a closed course race track. Many of us ride well within our limits when we are on the Mountain and know that the best part of the ride is arriving home safe in the end.
Some things to think about:
1: Palomar isn't for the new rider. You have to learn canyon riding some time but work your way up to riding on Palomar Mountain.
2: Don't forget your gear! That sweat shirt doesn't count.
3: Its best to ride your motorcycle, not your friends motorcycle.
4: Let your tires warm up.
5: There is no shame in getting passed, don't try to keep up with your faster friends.
Just my $0.02.
